The Humble Believer

Don’t allow your prayer to be a rushed movement of your limbs without humility, fear and love that shortly after completing you return to sin. Allah described the result of prayer in the Quran saying “Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing” (29:45) so if it doesn’t stop you from sin then you haven’t perfected it.

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم described Ihsan as worshipping Allah as if you see Him although you don’t and if you cannot achieve this then be aware that He sees you. Ibn Rajab said this hadeeth indicates one should worship Allah bearing in mind He is close, this leads to fearing Him and venerating Him and perfecting the worship.

Learn the meaning of what you recite, pray as if its your last prayer, remember that Allah is the master of the day of judgement when you recite Maliki Yawmi Din, know that when you bow you are humbling yourself before Allah, be aware that when you prostrate to return your forehead back to ground it was made from and which you will be buried..
